Taylor Swiftâs music may have helped police get to a medical emergency, or at least given him some tunes as he raced to the scene.
The cop, who was going to a call that required urgent assistance, decided to blast out one of Taylor Swiftâs hits on his way. The dashcam footage shows the early morning roads fly by as the policeman tries to get to the person in need as fast as he can. Taylor seems to help the situation as it wasnât one of her slow hits he decided to play.
Police listen to Taylor Swiftâs music while traveling to emergency
In the video obtained by TMZ, Taylor Swiftâs discography can be heard in the background as the police officer responds to a medical emergency. Their song of choice was Cruel Summer, which has been going viral recently all over social media, particularly TikTok.
Ironically, the authoritative figure was traveling to help the NFL owner (in case you missed it, Tay Tay is dating Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce) Jim Irsay during a health scare he had in December.
The footage was recorded at around 4.30 am and the cam captured the policeman weaving in and out of traffic as well as accelerating to high speeds; he also went through at least one red light. Cops undergo strict vehicle training they utilize when permitted to drive with sirens and lights.

At one point, he goes at his fastest speed as Taylor sings: âHe looks up grinning like a devil / Itâs new!â
At least three other cops rushed to the scene â though they werenât listening to any tunes â where they found Irsay âgasping for airâ in his bed and though they struggled initially to give him treatment, he survived and is still recovering.
Police hunt stolen Eras Tour poster
This isnât the first time Taylor Swift has been somehow linked with the police recently â though the other incident doesnât involve her music. Instead, it has to do with a stolen movie theater poster.
Taking to Facebook, cops in Tulsa shared they were looking for a man who took the poster featuring the celebrity from its frame and called the act âa little extreme.â
They wrote: âOn 11/12/2023, the person in the photos, wearing a black âBilly Stringsâ cap entered the AMC Theatre at 8207 S Olympia Ave.
âThe subject went to the Taylor Swift Concert movie then, on the way out, proceeds to steal a 6â x 4â poster outside the theater room. While this may seem relatively juvenile and benign, it caused thousands of dollars of damage to the poster frame.â
They continued: âWhether you love T. Swift or not, itâs not cool to destroy other peopleâs things and abscond with stuff that doesnât belong to you.â
The CCTV picture they included shows a bearded man with the stolen item in his hands. He wore a Billy Strings snapback as part of his outfit.
